Deontay Wilder was once beaten by Russian Evgenyi Romanov in the 'Bronze Bomber's' only KO defeat.
Wilder battled Romanov in a USA vs Russia fight in Novosibirsk back in 2008.
The American saw himself fall to a third round KO loss after being overwhelmed by his shorter competitor.
It's not the type of humiliation Wilder will want to be reminded of ahead of his WBC Heavyweight Title defence against Tyson Fury on Saturday.
The bout was a cruiserweight clash early in both fighter's respective careers.
Wilder did start the fight in control and had a commanding 4-2 point lead at the end of the first round.
He managed to use his six foot seven frame to his advantage and keep the six foot Russian at bay.
But Romanov settled into the bout in the second round and managed to swing momentum into his favour.
